Dali' and Falafel

6:34 Home from a "Dalinian" weekend in Cadaques and Figueres.
Salvador Dali' has long been one of my favorite artists ever, and it
was a privilege to be able to see for myself many of his works, and
even step into his own home.
Cadaques is a small sea town in northern Spain where the Maestro
spent most of his life. Apart from the obviously touristic
consequences of its heritage (Hotel Dali', Restaurant Dali', about 20
Bar Dali'...), the town has retained all its charm.

If you ever happen to be in the area, make sure you visit the Museo
Dali' in Figueres. It's an old theater, recuperated and restored by
Dali' himself and transformed in the biggest surrealist opus ever
created.
Many thanks to the lady at the entrance of Dali's house for making an
exception and letting us in despite the sold out weekend...

And just when i thought vegetarian food in an old sea town was going to be an unllikely or at the best uneventful possibility, there came this little place at the rescue. Possibly the best I have ever had.
